Ожидаемые результаты программы обучения "Applied Biology (B.Sc.)"

The study programme combines subjects as human biology, microbiology, genetics and cell culture with chemistry and computing sciences – an excellent preparation for either a career in industry or at university. The standard period of study for obtaining the BSc degree is six semesters, including a final project. Students may spend the fifth semester at one of our partner universities in the UK, the Netherlands, Spain, Norway, Belgium, Poland or Italy. Some of our partner universities award a double degree to our students if they also spend the sixth semester abroad. Academic and examination results will be quoted as credits according to the European Credit Transfer System (ECTS). Successful students will be awarded the B.Sc. degree in Applied Biology by the Bonn-Rhein-Sieg University of Applied Sciences. This degree enables graduates to apply for national and international master programmes including our Master in Biomedical Sciences (MSc).

The hints below are a very rough summary of the actual regulations for B.Sc.-students. Recommended Procedure: Look for an adequate training position and for a supervisor of the university according to paragraph. You will receive the fact sheet necessary for the application from the authorized person for the practical phase or under the following link "Data Sheet" (pdf). Please fill out the form and hand it in, signed by your supervising professor, to the authorized person for the practical phase. The specified time frame are 3 months, any further time you are planning to spend at your training institution is not relevant for the practical phase. After you handed in the fact sheet the students´ office will be informed and your request for partial refund of the tuition fee is going to be granted. Upon completion of the practical phase a certificate for successful participation has to be handed in as soon as possible. Upon receipt the examination office will be informed about your successful participation and the module recorded as passed.
